Also, while reading and transcribing Grandma's diaries from 1932-33, I noticed that Grandma made donuts often to take to people and to Grange meetings she must have made good ones. Funny thing is I don't remember Grandma ever making donuts when I was young. I wish I had a recipe for her donuts to share but I don't have one. Just thought I'd share that bit of information.
