Lost Restaurants Of Downtown Cleveland

The Fisherman' Cove was on the first floor of the Chesterfield Apartments.

Memories:

J.H. Flora sent this memory about Fisherman's Cove: "It specialized in seafood, including fresh lobster, and I remember it as the first really nice restaurant I ever visited. In the late 1970s, when I worked for Diamond Shamrock Corp., we would go there for lunch for special occasions such as someone's birthday. One story from that time was, when a group was leaving the restaurant following lunch, Crazy Roy snatched a lobster from the tank by the door, took it back to work and put on his boss's desk. I didn't witness this, but the person who told me about it had no reason to lie and I knew Roy slightly and believe he was capable of it."(June 12, 2018)
