Lost Restaurants Of Downtown Cleveland

The Caxton Cafe was located in the Caxton Building at 812 Huron Rd E. Cleveland Chef Michael Symon operated the restaurant in the 1990s

Memories:

Nancy in Lakewood sent this memory: "When I was 50, which has been a few years ago, Michael Symon had started the Caxton Café. For my 50th birthday, my hubby was out of town and my son, who was quite young, but worked at Great Lakes Restaurant (Great Lakes Brewery), got to know Michael Symon. Took me to the Caxton Café for my 50th. Michal came over and said, “Well, hi, Drew, how are you?” And Drew introduced us and Michael sat down and I was fortunate enough to have my 50th birthday with two very handsome men. My son, Drew, and Michael Symon. So... In fact, I think he brought me birthday cake or some type of birthday dessert. I can’t remember what, but I know it was good."(May 4, 2018)
