Holly Tomasch, Executive Director of the Steamship William G. Mather museum commented about Eden Valley's work:

“I have used Bette Lou Higgins, artistic director of Eden Valley Enterprises, to research, develop and produce more than twenty unique history programs since 1990. Many of these programs were for historic site museums, and two were for family celebrations (50th anniversary and a wedding). Without fail, Bette Lou/Eden Valley Enterprises delivered historically accurate, timely, and highly entertaining programs and/or events all within budget.

The most complex program was a series of "true and tall" Great Lakes tales told throughout an evening tour for young families aboard the Steamship WILLIAM G. MATHER Museum. This program involved developing the stories, auditioning/training volunteers, creating/building props, and then "stage managing" the 10-evening event. Thousands of visitors enjoyed the "Legends of the Lakes" program when it was offered 1994-1998.

I give Bette Lou Higgins my highest recommendation. As testimony, I offer the fact that I had her do the program for my own 2007 wedding. Several of my friends still refer to it as the best wedding ever!”
