Deborah Guess hikes the Colorado Trail in 2015

Last summer I turned 60 years old, and backpacked 410 miles of the Colorado Trail, 370 miles solo. I thought I had missed my chance, but was greatly inspired by the book "Grandma Gatewood's Walk."
